Sometimes I think we do things without even realizing it, we might hurt someone else by our actions or by something we said and not even notice until five years down the road and that someone drudges up the past memory. It's like these things come flying out of our mouths and we have no radar for others around us, like we become totally oblivious to others, when do we do this...how is it that these moments of inconsideration and lack of sensitivity always seem to come around when we are being selfish.
Do you ever notice that?.....That the second you start thinking about only yourself you start forgetting about everyone else. I cannot tell you how many times I have felt this way as I am sure you all have, and I also cannot tell you how many times I have been the one making someone feel this way..as I am sure you all have. I no longer want to be the cause of someone else's bitterness or hurt feelings all because I was thinking of only myself.
I believe we are here for a reason...a reason other than ourselves, we are here to help others and in return we will receive the same. We should spend every morning waking up with a plan on how we want and who we want to help today. I would love to say that I do this on a daily basis, but that would be a lie, because I certainly do not....but I am going to change that.
You see I believe that the excuses we use as reasons why we can't or won't help someone else is simply LAME, you may be too busy or have a million errands to run or be going through a crisis or your kids might be running around like chickens with there heads cut off, but if you would just remember one piece of advice it would be this.....there is always going to be a reason for you not to help someone or not to do something, the key is to find that one reason why you should.
I hope you all can find a reason to help someone today that really needs it, I bid you all a farewell till tomorrow.
Warm Regards,
Candace
